AdultSkate is a Skate Canada program that offers recreational, test and competitive opportunities to adult skaters that includes CanSkate (learn to skate) and StarSkate (skating tests). Glacier School of Skating supports and promotes AdultSkate programs. All adults, either learning how to skate for the first time or returning to a sport they participated in as a child, are welcome to skate for fun or fitness in either a recreational or competitive setting. At Glacier, adult skaters can receive qualified coaching, learn new skills, and achieve tests alongside other adults. They also have the opportunity to compete with other adults with a similar level of skating proficiency at different sanctioned events throughout the year, including the annual Skate Canada Adult Championships for 25yrs + and the ISU International Adult Figure Skating Competition for 28yrs + in Oberstdorf, Germany.
